Cloud 9 Inn, Seaside Heights

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was convenient, close to the beach and boardwalk, but there were some cleanliness issues in the rooms and common areas. The service was friendly but not very responsive when it came to refunds.

Initially, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms, which were much nicer than expected given the appearance of the motel. They were clean, although a bit in need of an update and had a slight mossy smell. The service experience was far from pleasant; they were allowing illegal parking while pestering me to move my car. Additionally, they refused to refund our two nights and were extremely rude. The location wasn't very appealing, but I did find the king-size bed I was looking for. The dining experience consisted of breakfast available an hour after check-out and some delightful homemade sweets. Despite the initial impression, the facilities were satisfactory.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I faced a delay as the room was not ready due to bed bugs, which was a major letdown. The room I eventually got was very dark, with paint peeling off the walls and no protective plate on the wall socket. However, the hotel's location right next to the beach was a huge plus for me despite the neighboring noise issues and lack of upkeep in some areas.
